STANDARDS & TESTING

  • Passes DOC-FF1-70 for the surface flammability of carpets

4' X 6' tiles

For the best results, utilize the following cleaning method to clean your WaterHog mat:

  • Vacuum regularly (daily in high-traffic commercial areas; weekly in lower traffic areas).
  • Extract or hose off as needed to remove heavy soil/debris.
  • Hang mat to dry.

Always make sure the mat is dry before placing it back in service.

  1. Place the mat face down with the rubber backing side up.
  2. Place double-sided tape (sold separately) along all four sides of the tile, as close to the edge as possible.
  3. Inside the rectangle, create an X by placing tape (sticky side down, blue side up) from one corner diagonally to the opposite corner.
  4. Place the tile in the desired position.  Carefully fold one half of the tile back, exposing the blue tape.
  5. Remove the blue liner and trim back to the folded area. Then fold that half back into place and repeat on the other side.
  6. To secure the bond between the tape and the tile, apply pressure by walking around each side of the tile.
